The Different Between Euro and Non Euro Clock Movements

Posted by Andrew Morse on

We keep getting asked this question so i thought I would add a few photos to help

The first one is an EF or Euro fitting, you will see that it has a metal end for the minute hand and it has flat sides. The dimension of the minute hand is 3.5mm x 2.8mm The hour hand fitting is round and 5mm diameter. The minute hand is secured with a nut

The Non Euro or EF fitting has a round shaft, 3.5mm diameter for the minute and 5mm diameter for the hour. Both hands are pushed onto the shaft
